ABOUT ME
I love learning about complex research ideas from passionate scientists, then developing high-impact research proposals for non-expert reviewers. Having written proposals that require alignment with institutional priorities, I've seen how research programs fit into long-term research strategies from a high level. I have significantly contributed several proposals, bringing in over $40M from federal, provincial and philanthropic sources. More recently, upon observing discussions at grant review panels, I seek to help craft proposals that are not only easy to read and rationally compelling, but easily defensible at panel discussions.
As a scientifically literate non-expert, I am that generalist reader of your proposal. This, in combination with my previous experience in academic organizations will provide crucial perspective to help your proposals stand out at the review stage.
